Huestun is the participant app for guided ski tours run on the Huestun platform. Skiers and guides join the day’s session by scanning the coordinator’s QR code, and for the length of the tour the app shares their location with the coordinator — including while the phone is locked in a pocket. This page is how to reach us about the app.
In an emergency, do not email
If you are in danger on the mountain, press SOS in the app so your coordinator sees your position, and call the local emergency number (in Japan: 119 for ambulance and fire, 110 for police). This mailbox is for questions about the app and is not watched around the clock.
Contact
Email us at developer@huestun.ai and a person will reply. It helps to include:
- Your phone model and its OS version
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the app’s side menu
- What you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when
- The tour operator or coordinator, if you know the name
Please do not put medical information in an email. What you entered on the intake form is already available to your coordinator through the app.
Common questions
How do I join a session?
Ask your coordinator or guide for the day’s QR code. Open the Huestun app, tap Scan, and point the camera at the code. Read the consent screen, pick your name from the list, and tracking starts.
If you scanned the code with your phone’s own camera app instead, it opens a page asking you to install the app. That is expected: sessions can only be joined from the app.
My name is not on the list.
The list comes from the intake form for that day. Tap “Not on the list?” to fill the form in, then go back and your name will be there. If it still is not, ask your coordinator to add you.
Why does the app need location access set to “Always”?
Sharing your position is what the app is for: the coordinator’s picture of where everyone is, is what a rescue is sent from. “While using the app” is not enough, because for most of the day the phone is locked in your pocket and the app is not on screen.
The app records your location only during a session you have joined. It stops when you tap End tracking, or when the coordinator ends the session.
How do I stop sharing my location?
Tap End tracking in the app. Sharing also ends when the coordinator closes the session. You can withdraw location permission in your phone’s settings at any time, after which the app cannot track at all.
What do you collect, and how do I have it deleted?
The privacy policy lists what the app collects, who can see it and for how long. To ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted, email the address above.

緊急時はメールではなく
山で危険な状況にあるときは、アプリの SOS を押してコーディネーターに現在地を知らせ、あわせて緊急通報（日本では救急・消防 119 番、警察 110 番）に電話してください。このメールアドレスはアプリに関するお問い合わせ用で、24 時間監視しているものではありません。

- お使いの機種と OS のバージョン
- アプリのバージョン（アプリのサイドメニュー最下部に表示されます）
- 期待した動作、実際に起きたこと、おおよその日時
- ツアー運営者またはコーディネーターの名前（わかる場合）
医療に関する情報はメールに書かないでください。事前アンケートにご記入いただいた内容は、コーディネーターがアプリを通じて確認できます。
よくある質問
セッションに参加するには？
コーディネーターまたはガイドからその日の QR コードを受け取り、Huestun アプリを開いて「QRコードをスキャン」をタップし、カメラをコードに向けてください。同意画面を読み、名簿から自分の名前を選ぶとトラッキングが始まります。
スマートフォン標準のカメラアプリで読み取った場合は、アプリのインストールを案内するページが開きます。これは想定どおりの動作で、セッションにはアプリからのみ参加できます。
名簿に自分の名前がありません。
名簿はその日の事前アンケートから作成されます。「名簿に名前がありませんか？」をタップしてアンケートに回答し、戻ると名前が表示されます。それでも表示されない場合は、コーディネーターに追加を依頼してください。
位置情報を「常に許可」にする必要があるのはなぜですか？
位置情報の共有がこのアプリの目的です。コーディネーターが把握する全員の位置が、救助を出動させる判断のもとになります。一日の大半、スマートフォンはロックされたままポケットの中にあり、アプリは画面に表示されていないため、「アプリの使用中のみ」では足りません。
位置情報が記録されるのは、参加したセッションの間だけです。「トラッキングを終了」をタップするか、コーディネーターがセッションを終了すると止まります。
位置情報の共有を止めるには？
アプリで「トラッキングを終了」をタップしてください。コーディネーターがセッションを終了した場合も共有は終わります。端末の設定から位置情報の許可をいつでも取り消すこともでき、その場合アプリは一切追跡できなくなります。
